Professional Home Inspection Institute is affiliated with ASHI, the American Society of Home Inspectors. ASHI is the oldest non-profit society for home inspectors in the US and has been around since the 70's. The courses (and most states' standards) are based on the ASHI standards or national guidelines for home inspection.
We can give you information about signing up for ASHI once you are finished with the course. Passing the NHIE exam is one requirement to join ASHI and our Advanced Course (included free with Basic Course) will help prepare you to pass that exam.
